The SLU-Quad Video Files

Not so much a picture person? Well then you're in luck because here's are all the videos that I've decided to upload with the quadcopter. Hopefully I'll be adding a lot more.

H-Frame Flying at Night!! Filmed with the Go Pro Hero3 Black Edition

This was filmed just for fun and to test out some of the night shooting characteristics of the Hero3 camera. Sorry for the corny music, but it was the best I could think of at the time. Also check out the gallery for some of the awesome pictures I've taken with the H-Quad

Quadcopter Dropping Food on Students at Cardboard City!

We got a chance to fly the quadcopter at Cardboard City this year and it was great. We had extra Pita chips we wanted to get rid of so I dropped them on the students at Cardboard city because every college student loves free food.

The first flight on the newly designed Aluminum frame.

This is a video I made at home of the first SLU-Quad flight. It was a really nice day outside so I had to take advantage of it. I even put my phone on top of it to get some video of me flying. Unfortunately, I crashed it pretty bad after my dad "double dog dared" me to try to do a barrel role...

Quadcopter Completing the Objective

We finally accomplished the original goal of picking up something with the quadcopter and delivering it somewhere else. This was just to demonstrate that we could actually do it.

First Night Flight

So do you remember seeing that picture of the quadcopter in splinters??? Yeah that was because I lost orientation at night. These LEDs were awesome and helped me see exactly where it was at the whole time.

Why Radio Interference is Bad

This was a day where I got to show off the quadcopter at Parks. It was also the day I crashed three times because of radio interference.

This was really the first time that I actually got to fly the quadcopter. It was too windy outside so we went inside on a racquetball court. It did alright, but I hadn't really learned how to fly it yet.
